Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Gardener to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of horticulture and landscape maintenance, with the ability to create and maintain beautiful outdoor spaces. This role involves working with various machinery, great people skills knowledge in plants, flowers, and landscapes to ensure they thrive and enhance the overall aesthetic of the environment.

**Must have previous experience in the industry & a full clean drivers license**

Duties

  • Cultivate and maintain gardens by planting, watering, and nurturing various plants and flowers.
  • Implement effective irrigation systems to ensure optimal growth conditions.
  • Perform regular landscape maintenance, including mowing, pruning, and weeding.
  • Utilise hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently for various gardening tasks.
  • Conduct groundskeeping duties to maintain the cleanliness and appearance of outdoor areas.
  • Monitor plant health, identifying pests or diseases, and taking appropriate action to remedy issues.
  • Collaborate with team members to design new garden layouts or improve existing landscapes.

Skills

  • Proficient/confidence in the use of small to medium sized machinery.
  • A strong work ethic
  • Strong knowledge of landscape maintenance techniques to ensure gardens remain healthy and vibrant.
  • Experience using hand tools such as spades, rakes, and shears as well as power tools like lawnmowers and trimmers.
  • Ability to perform groundskeeping tasks efficiently while paying attention to detail.
  • Good physical stamina for performing manual labour in various weather conditions.
  • Strong organisational skills to manage time effectively while completing multiple gardening tasks.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: £100.00-£140.00 per day

Expected hours: 27 – 40 per week
