Ferring+You
Reporting to the Finance Director, you will manage the market supply chain, supporting the market to achieve profitable growth and meeting the needs of the customers and patients, ensuring efficient and smooth coordination between the function and all internal and external customers.
Your role is to ensure that product is available at right time, right cost and right quality and to manage the secondary supply chain activities end-to-end.
Your day at Ferring
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee all supply chain activities in the UK and Ireland, including logistics, distribution, customer service, warehousing, transportation, import-export, inventory management, and supply-demand planning.
Manage secondary distribution with stakeholders to ensure optimal quality and cost for Ferring products.
Accountable for the cost and quality of Ferring product distribution.
Manage team and report KPIs.
Forecasting:
Drive local forecast accuracy through strong S&OP planning as part of the local Leadership team.
Ensure global production aligns with commercial targets and ambitions.
Inventory:
Manage inventory, including critical supply situations, non-available goods, provisioning, scrapping, shelf life, and utilization.
Main contact for global/regional Supply Network Optimization team and 3PL relationship manager, ensuring service excellence and KPI adherence.
General:
Lead/participate in projects to improve sales, service levels, and reduce costs.
Collaborate with Regional/Global SNO, Local Regulatory Affairs, and Commercial team for change implementations and new launches.
Ensure compliance with corporate policies, Global SOPs, and GDP Support local/internal audits.

Required Education/Qualifications/Skills:
University Degree in Supply Chain or equivalent
Minimum 8 years industry experience in supply chain pharma, life science or medical
Solid knowledge and experience in logistics, warehousing, demand planning and order to cash
Experience in Demand Planning and ERP Tools e.g., SAP & Kinaxis or equivalent
