My client is a SAAS web platform provider for premiership football and rugby clubs, horse and motor racing, and every other sport on the planet. The platform handles all membership, season tickets, merchandise, sponsorship, advertising, marketplaces, and customer engagement. It is essentially an eCommerce platform developed by a rapidly scaling top UK tech business.

Now, each client is very different, they have differing requirements, data, CRM, and eCommerce integrations. The customisation, user experience, and front-end designs will be different. They're high profile and have 3rd party integrations and dataflows, and although the customisation and development is agile and well organised, it still requires significant project management.

In fact, this role is extremely fast-moving, with multiple projects running concurrently. You'll interface with the software development teams, testing and QA and of course the client stakeholders.

The environment is agile, scrum, working with onsite/hybrid development teams within a Microsoft stack environment.

Passionate about continuous improvement and best practice, outside of your day job, i.e. running fast-moving digital / web projects we're also looking for someone who can look at improving Project Management processes.

Don't get me wrong, we're not looking for some over-engineered PMO, but we are looking for slick, smart project management processes, frameworks, and technologies, they'd be looking to you to help implement the good stuff

So what does the ideal candidate look like?

We're looking for a Digital / Web / Software / SAAS Project Manager who has experience working with external customers. We're looking for a PM used to building relationships and rapport with internal and external stakeholders. Someone who can drive change and spin plates, delegate tasks and ensure project/development teams are onboard and heading in the right direction.

This role will give you the opportunity to:

a) Deliver some amazing projects for the top sports clubs in the world

b) Enable you to build a Project Delivery function using best practice & best tech

As yet the Project Team is still relatively small, but it will grow and you'll be in the driving seat, heading towards a 'Head of Delivery' or Head of Project Management' in the future.
