Here at GXO, we are currently recruiting for a Site Engagement & Communications Coordinator join our team in Swadlincote, supporting the HR team with staff engagement across the site. If you have run events & are always the organiser of a party, we would love to hear form you

This is a full time, permanent position, working Monday to Friday, 09:00 till 17:00, with flexibility needed, this is logistics after all

We're looking to offer a salary of up to £26,577.00 per annum, and 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays). What you'll do on a typical day:

  • Support the HR function in Employee Engagement activities including creating promotional materials, posters, presentations, arranging staff events across the site
  • First point of contact for all engagement activities and communication across the site
  • Initiate new engagement ideas to maintain employee retention & manage the site recognition scheme
  • Responsible for the annual engagement calendar and budget

What you need to succeed at GXO:

  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written, including the ability to listen and ask questions
  • Strong in systems - Microsoft Office, such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Experience of using social and digital media for communication and campaigns
  • Experience within arranging events or staff engagement activities, would be an advantage
