Marketing Manager – DabbaDrop
Location:
London (Hybrid, occasional in-person days)
Salary:
£40,000–£50,000 DOE
About DabbaDrop
DabbaDrop is London's first closed-loop curry subscription, delivering big-flavour, homestyle curries in reusable tins. Since launch, we've served over 300,000 meals, combining sustainability, craft and community with a mission to make dinner feel good again.
We're on a mission to reinvent curry night - turning it from a quick fix into a small ritual of calm and care. With new growth projects on the horizon, including retail sauces and nationwide expansion, we're looking for a hands-on, data-driven Marketing Manager to help us grow our community and bring more people to the Dabba table.
The Role
This is a growth-focused role for someone who loves seeing results and cares about doing things properly. You'll lead on paid growth, conversion and subscriber acquisition while working alongside fractional marketing experts.
You'll dig into data, test strategies, optimise performance and make sure every campaign feels distinctly DabbaDrop - warm, thoughtful and effective. You'll also help shape how we tell our story across email, CRM and digital touchpoints, keeping our message consistent as we grow.
Key Responsibilities
- Own paid growth campaigns across Meta, Instagram and other channels, optimising for subscription conversions and ROI.
- Manage and improve Shopify customer journeys, upsell strategies and referral programmes to increase retention.
- Oversee CRM and email marketing, using data and insight to guide decisions.
- Work closely with fractional CMOs and content leads to align growth and brand storytelling.
- Analyse performance metrics and conversion data to inform optimisation.
- Deliver small-scale activations and local campaigns that build awareness and drive sign-ups.
- Collaborate with PR, influencer and creative partners when needed to amplify campaigns.
What Success Looks Like
- Subscription numbers and retention rates increase through optimised paid and referral campaigns.
- Email, CRM and automations deliver consistent, data-led results.
- Paid channels deliver measurable ROI and continuous improvement.
- Brand voice and tone remain warm, consistent and recognisably DabbaDrop.
- You confidently own and deliver growth outcomes with minimal supervision.
Skills & Experience
- Experience in growth marketing, paid social, e-commerce or subscription services.
- Proficient in Shopify, Recharge, Klaviyo/CRM, Meta Ads Manager and performance analysis.
- Strong understanding of conversion optimisation and audience targeting.
- Able to work independently, take ownership and make data-informed decisions.
- Experience with content collaboration, influencer marketing or PR is a plus.
- Passion for food, sustainability and purpose-led brands.
- Based in London, with occasional travel to our Leyton kitchen or events.
Personality Fit
- You're analytical but creative, confident but grounded.
- You're driven by results but care about the details that make a brand feel human.
- You're proactive, hands-on and excited to grow something with meaning.
Benefits
- Be part of a small, mission-led team making a real impact.
- Hybrid working with flexibility and regular London meet-ups.
- Free DabbaDrop meals whenever you like
- 25 days holiday plus bank holidays.
- Work closely with experienced founders and fractional CMOs.
Equal Opportunity
We're an equal opportunity employer and value inclusivity and diversity. We hire based on potential, not just prior experience, and welcome applicants from all backgrounds. If you require any accessibility support or adjustments during the recruitment process, please email us.
