Overview

We are seeking a vigilant and professional Door Supervisor to join our security team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining a safe and secure environment for both staff and patrons. As a Door Supervisor, you will be responsible for monitoring entry points, ensuring compliance with licensing laws, and providing exceptional customer service while upholding the highest standards of safety.

Duties

  • Monitor and control access to the premises, ensuring only authorised individuals enter.
  • Respond promptly to incidents or emergencies, utilising first aid skills when necessary.
  • Implement loss prevention strategies to minimise theft and damage within the establishment.
  • Maintain a visible presence to deter anti-social behaviour and ensure compliance with venue policies.
  • Liaise with local law enforcement and emergency services as required.
  • Provide excellent customer service by assisting patrons with inquiries and resolving conflicts amicably.
  • Prepare incident reports as needed, documenting any occurrences or breaches of security.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a security role or as a Door Supervisor is preferred.
  • Valid SIA licence is essential.
  • Proficient in first aid practices; certification is advantageous.
  • Strong observational skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and conflict resolution.
