**The is a **night shifts only** full time role working on a rolling pattern**: Wednesday to Sunday followed by Thursday to Sunday (5 on, 3 off; 4 on, 2 off). We offer a rate of £13.15 per hour and you will be entitled to 25.2 days holiday per annum, including bank holidays.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Monitor all security and building management systems in the Security Control Room and support the Security Supervisor on the day-to-day operations.
- Step-up or cover Security Supervisor role on interim basis in the absence of the Security Supervisor.
- Working in partnership with all service providers across Soho Place estate
- Proactively monitor and respond to suspicious activities or persons using CCTV surveillance systems.
- Actively communicate with the wider security team for the efficient and effective running of security operations
- Management of the fault log and following up Help Desk or callout requests
- Monitoring information received from internal & external agencies e.g. news feeds, social media, intelligence and responding appropriately
- Security Protective and Building Management System checks
- Anticipate clients' needs/problems and meet their expectations
- Be seen as a visible customer focused professional by being proactive and greet clients and visitors where possible
- Ensure all landlord contractor access is pre-authorised and in accordance with risk assessment/permit to work conditions
- Complete comprehensive incident reports to a high standard and ensure these are submitted in reasonable time
- Oversee and manage any emergency incidents
- Undertake patrols and inspections in accordance with Assignment Instructions.
- Complete a full detailed handover at the end of each shift
**Person Specification**
- Valid SIA Door Supervisor and CCTV licence
- Verifiable 5 years of continuous work employment history without gaps
- Professional, highly driven, flexible, enthusiastic, proactive, self-motivated team player
- Reliable and willing to work night shifts and any over time if required
- Previous experience in a customer service/security facing role
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with people at all levels
- Ability to work independently with confidence, using own initiative as required under pressure
- Look for opportunities to enhance client/visitor experience
- Clear, concise and confident communication skills with a very keen eye for detail
- Confidence and common sense to access and utilise expert resources when making decisions
- Maintain and practice a high degree of confidentiality at all times
- Have an acute sense of security awareness
- Good understanding of one-team ethos and importance of supporting the wider team.
