Job Title: Social Media Manager
Location: London
Contract length: 12 months
Pay rate: £300.00 per day
Are you a fast-learning, confident social media specialist who thrives in a busy, stakeholder-heavy environment? We're partnering with a leading global financial organisation to hire a Social Media Manager who will drive the UK social presence across LinkedIn and X, while collaborating closely with channel managers across five EMEA markets.
What You'll Do
- Lead day-to-day management of LinkedIn and X channels, ensuring a steady flow of high-quality, engaging content.
- Act as the main point of contact for UK social activity, working closely with comms teams, brand ambassadors and senior stakeholders.
- Create compelling content — from scripts and short-form posts to ads and leadership messaging — simplifying complex financial information into clear, accessible narratives.
- Use data confidently: analysing performance in Sprinklr and Excel, monitoring engagement metrics, spotting algorithm trends and identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Navigate corporate approval workflows with speed and confidence, ensuring content moves smoothly through every step.
- Maintain channel health: managing a busy content queue, prioritising what needs to go out now, and keeping ahead of upcoming activations.
- Collaborate regularly with EMEA partners to ensure alignment with wider regional goals.
- Stay resilient and proactive in a high-volume content environment, including responding strategically to distractor posts and emerging trends.
What You'll Bring
- Experience managing LinkedIn and/or X channels, ideally within a corporate, financial or complex stakeholder environment.
- Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to turn technical or complex topics into engaging social content.
- A solid understanding of platform algorithms, engagement drivers and data-led optimisation.
- Organised, collaborative and confident working directly with senior leaders.
- Curiosity, creativity and excellent judgement — essential for maintaining a credible, consistent brand presence.
- No formal degree required; relevant hands-on experience is what matters.
Why This Role?
This is an exciting opportunity to shape the UK social voice of a major global organisation, partnering with experts across EMEA and gaining exposure to high-impact content work. If you're quick to pick things up, love making sense of data, and enjoy working at pace, this will be a great fit.
