With an ambitious growth plan, a unique and exciting opportunity has come up for a dynamic Social Media Manager and Content Creator to join the team. The ideal candidate will have experience of working for a small, fast-paced fashion brand where creativity, reactivity and proactivity are key.
Social Media Manager & Content Creator - Job Description
Full-time role with flexibility to adjust hours for out-of-hours events and weekend social media coverage.
Kent based, hybrid working.
Salary £28k - £32k per annum depending on experience.
This role is an exciting opportunity to immerse yourself in brand story-telling and growing a community across all Rachel Jackson's social media platforms - Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, LinkedIn, Tik Tok. This is a diverse role encompassing social media management, photography, and video content creation.
Fundamental to this is creating on-brand, engaging content through reels, videos and lifestyle product photography providing the supporting content for professionally shot campaigns as well as business as usual, brand building content.
As part of a small yet fast paced marketing team you will drive the creative ideation with a collaborative mindset to come up with fresh, cut through ideas that deliver business objectives. Alongside this, you will be working closely with Rachel on all our events and celebrity collaborations - it's an exciting and diverse role - perfect for someone who is never without their phone and LOVES all things Social.
The Role - 4 Key Areas of Accountability
Content Ideation & Creation
- Develop and deliver fresh, compelling content across all social platforms including videos, reels, gifs, lifestyle product photography, and social stories.
- Working campaign to campaign, lead creative ideation, concept development, shoot preparation, production, and post-production editing for all social shoots
- Capture events, behind-the-scenes moments, founder-led content, and jewellery-focused content to maintain an authentic and engaging brand presence.
- Retouch, crop, and format assets to maintain brand consistency and high visual standards.
- Write engaging, on-brand copy for all social posts
Social Media Strategy & Planning
- Plan, schedule, and execute a robust social content strategy
- Ensure proper tagging, UTM links, and product information for all posts to support tracking and analytics.
- Activate test & learn initiatives to optimize content, formats, and platform performance based on insights.
- Stay up-to-date with social media trends, platform updates, and algorithm changes to ensure best practices are implemented.
- Own monthly reporting and insight generation for social campaigns, providing actionable recommendations for growth.
Community & Influencer Management
- Working along-side Rachel, manage influencer and collaborator selection, including giveaways and partnerships, ensuring brand alignment.
- Rapidly respond to relevant cultural events, celebrity moments, or trending topics to maintain relevance and engagement with the community.
- Provide community management support to maintain an active, engaged social following.
Campaign Support
- Work with the email team to develop social friendly campaign straplines and messaging that resonate with our audience
- Work with the wider team on campaign shoots to incorporate social friendly content
About you
- A social media enthusiast who lives and lives and breathes Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest and Linkedin.
- Highly creative, with a keen and elevated eye for visual storytelling and attention to detail.
- Experienced in content creation across photography, video, and social formats.
- Thrives working in a fast-paced environment, balancing multiple priorities with agility and a can-do mindset
- Confident in community management, influencer collaborations, and rapid response content.
Experience
- Minimum 3-5 years experience in a similar role ideally within the affordable luxury / fashion or jewellery sector
