Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Pharmacist to join our healthcare team in our distant selling pharmacy. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and effective use of medications for our patients. As a Pharmacist, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive pharmaceutical care, advising patients on medication management, and collaborating with healthcare professionals to optimise patient outcomes. Please not this role is not remote, and you will be required to attend in person.
Responsibilities
- Prescribe prescription medications accurately and efficiently while ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Provide patient care services, including medication counselling and health screenings
- Conduct thorough medication reviews to identify potential drug interactions or contraindications.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to develop and implement patient-specific medication plans.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation related to medication therapy management.
- Educate patients on the proper use of medications, including potential side effects and interactions.
- Supervise pharmacy technicians and support staff in their daily activities to ensure high standards of service.
- Stay updated on new medications, therapies, and industry trends to provide informed recommendations.
