About the Role:

We're on the hunt for a skilled and passionate Barista or Barista Shift Leader to join our vibrant retail team. This is not just about making coffee – it's about being part of a company that values craft, quality, and connection.

We require an experienced barista with a thorough understanding of coffee, from the science of dialling in espresso to the art of latte pouring. You must thrive in fast-paced environments, maintaining composure and efficiency during peak times.

This is an opportunity for a passionate coffee professional to refine their skills and contribute to a dynamic team.

As a Key Member of Our Team, You Will:

  • Deliver outstanding coffee and service, ensuring every customer leaves with a memorable experience
  • Maintain consistency in coffee quality, adhering to our high standards and recipes
  • Engage with customers, share coffee knowledge, and build brand loyalty through meaningful interaction
  • Work closely with the team to achieve operational excellence and help drive store performance
  • Support daily operations, including opening/closing, restocking, and shift leadership (where applicable)
  • Lead by example in both customer service and quality standards

We're Looking for Someone Who Has:

Specialty Coffee Expertise

  • Strong knowledge of coffee preparation: dialling in espresso, steaming milk, and producing high-quality latte art
  • A keen eye for quality and attention to detail in every cup served

Customer-Focused Approach

  • A warm, welcoming attitude and commitment to exceptional service
  • Clear and engaging communication skills

Operational and Team Excellence

  • Ability to stay organised and efficient under pressure
  • A collaborative spirit who enjoys working in a tight-knit, high-performing team
  • Experience leading shifts or supporting team operations (Shift Leader)

Personal Qualities

  • Flexible, enthusiastic, and solution-oriented with a strong 'can-do' attitude
  • Motivated, well-presented, and grounded in common sense
  • Eager to grow professionally and take on increasing responsibility

Minimum Requirements

  • Previous barista experience in specialty coffee is essential (1 year)
  • Full-time availability, including weekends
  • Legal right to work in the UK
  • NCASS Level 2 Safe Food Certificate (training provided if needed)
  • Please note, we require full availability over the whole Christmas and New Year period, as we only close on Christmas Day.
