Basement Sate is a hidden cocktail and dessert bar in the heart of Soho, known for its refined drinks, indulgent desserts, and intimate late-night vibe, a favourite among locals and cocktail lovers alike.

Our clientele shifts throughout the week, date nights and dessert pairings on weekdays, and lively groups and regulars on weekends, offering a dynamic and rewarding work rhythm.

We're looking for a full-time bartender to join our small, dedicated team. You'll need a passion for cocktails, attention to detail, and a calm, confident presence behind the bar. Working in a compact team means you'll be an essential part of both the service flow and the guest experience.

The Role

  • Preparing cocktails with consistency, precision, and flair
  • Engaging with guests and offering tailored drink recommendations
  • Supporting floor service during busy periods
  • Maintaining cleanliness and organisation behind the bar
  • Helping develop and refine drink recipes and menu ideas
  • Cleaning and polishing glasses
  • Cleaning duties

What We Offer

  • £ service charge
  • 5 days a week (evening shifts) 43hours per week
  • Opening hours: 6pm – 1:30am
  • A creative, supportive team environment with opportunities to grow and develop your craft

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years' cocktail bar experience
  • Strong product knowledge and curiosity to learn
  • Friendly and professional demeanour under pressure
  • Team player with pride in presentation and efficiency
