We have strong values and we're proud to pioneer new ways of delivering social care to stand out in our sector. In the past two years, we have won or made the shortlist for over 100 national and regional awards
We are also focused on our people. Our Support Workers are dedicated and passionate about going 'the extra mile' for the people we support and in return, we go the extra mile for them by investing in pay, recognition, wellbeing and continued professional and personal development. We will provide you with all the training, support and personal protective equipment you need in your role and will help you develop, should you decide you want to develop your career with us.
Who you'll be supporting & more about the role:
We are currently recruiting for Support Workers to join our dedicated team in Holland Street, Aberdeen. In this service, we support 13 individuals who have their flats in the same location with each person having their own front door and veranda. We have 13 staff on shift at one time. This very much depends on our needs at that time. We have various shifts during the day and evening and have a waking nights team. In order to support to live best lives possible our team have specialised training in autism, catheter care, Evac chair and learning disabilities. Each person we support has their own individual needs, including some mobility issues, and we provide any support they need for them to live as independently as possible. The people we support pride themselves on their homes and enjoy a wide range of activities, which include going to the cinema, attending monthly discos, socialising at supper club, going out for long walks, arts and crafts, baking, gardening, cooking, games and puzzles. We provide support 24 hours a day, 7 days a week so you will be required to be flexible to work on different days, including some weekend work. Our shift pattern is 9.45pm to 7.30am with Week 1 working 2 shifts, Week 2 3 shifts and Week 3 2 shifts on a rolling rota basis. Due to the needs of the people we support a UK driving license would be extremely beneficial but is not mandatory. We are currently recruiting for a part time Waking Nights post. One of the values of Community Integrated Care is our passion for our people and every year we invest in our front-line worker pay in line with the Living Wage increase each April. Our promise has always been clear: we will do everything in our power to improve pay for colleagues.
Your values:

It's important that you are reliable and honest and can communicate well with everyone.
