We want to provide support based on the principles of choice, dignity and respect. This resonates in our vision of 'Your Life, Your Choice' and our strategy 'Best Lives Possible'.

We have strong values and we're proud to pioneer new ways of delivering social care to stand out in our sector. In the past two years, we have won or made the shortlist for over 100 national and regional awards

We are also focused on our people. Our Support Workers are dedicated and passionate about going 'the extra mile' for the people we support and in return, we go the extra mile for them by investing in pay, recognition, wellbeing and continued professional and personal development. We will provide you with all the training, support and personal protective equipment you need in your role and will help you develop, should you decide you want to develop your career with us.

Who you'll be supporting & more about the role:

The Community Living Project aims to enable individuals to lead the most independent lives possible and supports the development of skills and achieving outcomes agreed within person-centred support plans. We have extensive experience in working with people to address any complexities and challenges that may exist in everyday life. This helps us to ensure that we can provide good practical support to individuals while ensuring that people have choice and control over their own lives. The service provision is managed locally in Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire and is staffed by experienced, trained staff, who are provided with person-specific inductions and training to ensure the highest quality support is delivered. We are proud to offer support that is flexible and adaptable and work with individuals to ensure each support plan is up to date, reflecting how the person would like to live and what support is required to do so. We offer Housing Support as well as Social Support for all ages from 18 years to Elderly age, with a mixture of abilities and desires. Our support is very flexible and is delivered at an agreed time to suit individuals, and covers a broad range of activities. In Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire we support over 100 people, which requires a large team of support staff. We provide support from Monday to Sunday between 8am to 6pm. We are currently recruiting for full-time and part-time roles. A UK driving license is not required for this role, but a good understanding of public transport is important. One of the values of Community Integrated Care is our passion for our people and every year we invest in our front-line worker pay in line with the Living Wage increase each April. Our promise has always been clear: we will do everything in our power to improve pay for colleagues.
