We are recruiting a full-time Senior Therapeutic Care Worker to join our children's homes based in East Lancashire.

Life Change Care offers a therapeutic environment for young people aged 10-17 upon admission, in a home which can accommodate up to 4 young people. We follow our trauma-informed emotional regulation (TIER) practice model, which is embedded in all our homes, and we are proud to be part of the Five Rivers Family.

As a Senior Therapeutic Care Worker, you will be part of a team that provides a supportive and nurturing environment, promoting independence, safety, and well-being. You will support our young people by addressing their day-to-day needs, participating in activities, and celebrating milestones. You will be part of an established team that provides the care and support needed to transform children's lives.

You will have experience working within a residential setting, particularly with young people with emotional difficulties or challenging behaviour and have a passion for working with children and young people.

You will support the Registered and Deputy Manager of the home by leading the team and regularly supervising, coaching, and key-working with our young people and staff.

Key Criteria

• You must hold your Level 3 /4 diploma in residential childcare

• At least 2 years' experience in a residential childcare setting

• Full Driving UK Driving Licence (desirable)

• Due to the age of our young people, you must be over the age of 21 to apply for this role

Hours
37.5 hours per week on a rota basis, this includes weekend, evenings and sleep ins
Sleep-ins: you will be expected to complete at least two sleep-ins per week.
