HR Business Partner - Making a Difference in Care

Are you a strategic and empathetic HR professional ready to partner with a passionate team dedicated to making a real difference in people's lives? Do you thrive on driving positive change and providing expert HR guidance within a dynamic environment?

We are seeking a proactive and commercially-aware HR Business Partner (HRBP) to join our organisation, a leading provider in the care industry. Reporting directly to the Head of HR, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our people strategy and ensuring our most valuable asset—our people—are supported to deliver outstanding care.

The Opportunity

As our HRBP, you will be the key link between the business and HR, working closely with operational managers across our care services. This isn't just a transactional role; it's a chance to be a strategic thought partner, helping us navigate the unique challenges and rewards of the care sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Partnership: Act as a trusted advisor to senior management and departmental heads, translating business strategy into tangible HR initiatives that support high-quality care delivery and sustainable growth.
  • Employee Relations & Compliance: Expertly manage complex employee relations cases, providing coaching and support to managers to ensure fair, consistent, and legally compliant practices.
  • Performance & Talent Management: Drive and embed effective performance management, talent review, and succession planning processes to develop our future leaders and ensure high standards of care.
  • Change Management: Lead and support organisational change, restructuring, and transformation projects with sensitivity and clear communication.
  • HR Projects & Initiatives: Design and implement HR projects that enhance employee engagement, well-being, and retention—critical factors in the care sector.
  • Policy Development: Contribute to the development and implementation of robust HR policies that reflect best practice and the specific needs of a care environment.

What You'll Bring

  • Experience: Proven experience as an HR Business Partner or similar strategic HR role, ideally within the care, healthcare, or a related complex, multi-site service industry.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of UK employment law and best practice HR principles.
  • Skills: Exceptional coaching, influencing, and communication skills, with the ability to build credibility quickly with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Attitude: A high degree of empathy, resilience, and a genuine passion for supporting staff in a demanding but highly rewarding sector.
  • Qualifications: CIPD qualification (Level 5 or 7) is highly desirable.

Why Join Us?

We offer more than just a job; we offer a chance to be part of a mission. You'll be joining a supportive Head of HR and a team committed to excellence. We provide competitive pay, a comprehensive benefits package, and opportunities for professional development. Most importantly, your work will directly contribute to creating a supportive and thriving environment for the staff who deliver compassionate care every single day.

If you are ready to apply your HR expertise to a sector that truly matters, we want to hear from you.
