This isn't just a transactional role; it's a chance to be a strategic thought partner, helping us navigate the unique challenges and rewards of the care sector. Key Responsibilities Strategic Partnership: Act as a trusted advisor to senior management and departmental heads, translating business strategy into tangible HR initiatives that support high-quality care delivery and sustainable growth. Employee Relations & Compliance: Expertly manage complex employee relations cases, providing coaching and support to managers to ensure fair, consistent, and legally compliant practices. Performance & Talent Management: Drive and embed effective performance management, talent review, and succession planning processes to develop our future leaders and ensure high standards of care. Change Management: Lead and support organisational change, restructuring, and transformation projects with sensitivity and clear communication. HR Projects & Initiatives: Design and implement HR projects that enhance employee engagement, well-being, and retention—critical factors in the care sector. Policy Development: Contribute to the development and implementation of robust HR policies that reflect best practice and the specific needs of a care environment. What You'll Bring Experience: Proven experience as an HR Business Partner or similar strategic HR role, ideally within the care, healthcare, or a related complex, multi-site service industry. Knowledge: Strong understanding of UK employment law and best practice HR principles. Skills: Exceptional coaching, influencing, and communication skills, with the ability to build credibility quickly with stakeholders at all levels. Attitude: A high degree of empathy, resilience, and a genuine passion for supporting staff in a demanding but highly rewarding sector.
