Job Title: Duty Manager

We are looking for someone to join our management team and oversee the overall operations of Storrs Hall to ensure the smooth running and guest satisfaction, as well as having a hands on approach in leading the team. You will be front line, welcoming and interacting with guests throughout their stay, including within our Food & Beverage offerings.

Main Responsibilities

  • Assisting with supporting our Food & Beverage offerings across both Restaurants as well as the general hotel operations
  • Ensuring the smooth running of the hotel, overseeing the various teams in the business
  • Driving forward exceptional service levels and making sure the guest experience is excellent across all areas
  • Providing the point of escalation for any operational issues in the hotel
  • Utilising the various systems such as Resdiary and Rezlynx
  • Working closely with the Management team

  • Main skills and experience
  • The successful candidate will ideally have previous management experience in hospitality.
  • Must have an enthusiastic knowledge of food & drink and provide excellent customer service.
  • Be able to lead from the front and be very much 'hands on' in terms of operations.
  • Possess excellent verbal & written communication skills, with the ability to build a rapport with all types of customer.
  • Must have a high standard of presentation personally and attention to the presentation of their surroundings, to ensure that guests have the best experience at all times.
  • IT literate

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £34,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
