We are now looking for a Credit Controller at our Head Office in Sheffield.

About the Role

A position has become available for a Credit Controller to join the team to due to an internal move. The Credit Controller is responsible for a wide array of credit control tasks, helping assess customer credit risks and arranging prompt payments from our customers. They will be a confident communicator with attention to detail, be highly organised and proactive. A part of Galaxy's success has come from maintaining a lean head-office structure where each function supports each other. The role would assist other support functions where necessary.

Responsibilities

· Being the primary credit contact for several Galaxy branches·

· Credit application appraisal and new account setup

· Contacting customers to arrange payments

· Supporting invoicing and credit note processes· Occasional other financial duties

About You

  • Experience working in credit control, however other finance experience welcome
  • Strong communicator, capable of speaking to people at all levels within a business
  • A high level of accuracy with good communication and IT skills
  • Self-motivated, take ownership and be proactive
  • Structured and organised approach to work
