Consultant in Intensive Care Medicine

The Directorate is seeking high quality consultant level candidates to be part of the Critical Care team at North Manchester General Hospital and Manchester Royal Infirmary site, as well as support the departmental ambition to become a centre of research excellence. Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust is looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic individual to join the team as a Consultant in Intensive Care Medicine. This exciting opportunity is the chance to work in one of the largest and most advanced Trusts in the country in a critical care unit with excellent standards and patient outcomes. We are looking for applicants to apply to provide critical care sessions at the North Manchester site and Oxford Road Campus.

Applicants may apply for Critical Care with a background of ICM training with specialist registration with the GMC or expected within 6 months of commencement of post. Rostering is flexible and subspecialist interests are encouraged with the opportunity to deliver care within the Trust.

Most importantly, it also contains critical information you'll need to be aware of before you submit an application form. 1 post will consist of Anaesthesia PA's as a Fixed Friday 29 weeks per year, 2 sessions Anaesthetic days (1.72PA) and 9.5 flexible in year sessions. The other post will be fully Critical Care.
