Volunteer Role Description

Organisation: PEP Enterprise CIC

Location: Remote

Commitment: Flexible hours, 5-10 hours a week

Reports to: Project Lead / Programme Coordinator

About PEP Enterprise

PEP Enterprise CIC is a community organisation dedicated to creating spaces where people can connect, lead, and thrive. We run projects that support refugees, asylum seekers, young people, and local residents - helping build confidence, community cohesion, and opportunity.

Role Purpose

We're looking for enthusiastic and reliable Volunteers to support our community programmes and day-to-day operations. This role is ideal for anyone who wants to develop skills in community engagement, administration, or digital support - while making a real difference locally.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with general administrative tasks (filing, data entry, responding to enquiries).
  • Help promote PEP's projects through outreach, social media, or local engagement.
  • Work closely with staff and other volunteers to maintain a friendly, inclusive environment for everyone.

Person Specification

Essential:

  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Positive, proactive, and respectful attitude.
  • Willingness to learn and contribute to PEP's community-focused mission.

Desirable:

  • Experience in customer service or community engagement.
  • Basic IT skills and confidence with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
  • Previous administrative or digital support experience.
