About the Position
The
Client Engagement Lead
will serve as the key liaison between AbsoluteLabs and its customers, overseeing engagements from initial discovery through final delivery. This individual will guide project direction, manage execution, and ensure overall success. The role combines technical insight with strong business judgement, touching on programme leadership, relationship development, commercial thinking, and strategic planning. The Engagement Lead will champion customer value while uncovering opportunities for long-term growth and expanded collaboration.
Core Responsibilities
- Act as the main point of contact for clients, building strong, long-standing relationships with senior stakeholders.
- Oversee the planning, coordination, and delivery of consulting engagements, ensuring timelines, budgets, and objectives are consistently achieved.
- Understand both the technological architecture and the business impact of proposed solutions to support informed decision-making.
- Drive project governance—including progress updates, risk/issue tracking, and escalation management—to ensure smooth delivery.
- Work closely with internal teams to align technical execution with overall client strategy and expected outcomes.
- Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through proactive communication, timely problem resolution, and value-driven engagement.
- Identify additional opportunities (cross-sell/up-sell) by aligning client goals with AbsoluteLabs' capabilities.
- Support sales and pre-sales cycles, contributing to scoping sessions, solution proposals, estimates, and pricing models.
- Participate in the creation of proposals, contracts, and commercial documents, ensuring strategic alignment and financial feasibility.
- Track financial performance across engagements, including profitability, utilisation, and revenue optimisation.
Required Experience & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required;
MBA is advantageous
. - 8–12 years
of experience in client management, delivery leadership, or programme/project management within IT services, consulting, SaaS, or cloud-based organisations. - Strong exposure to
cloud technologies, integration work, digital transformation initiatives
, or similar technology-led programmes. - Proven ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder engagements across different regions or functional areas.
- Solid commercial understanding, including experience with
contracts, proposals, pricing frameworks, and account expansion strategies
. - Professional certifications such as
PMP, PRINCE2, or Certified Scrum Master
are beneficial.
