An exciting opportunity has arisen within SPS Headquarters as we recruit for an Asset Development Manager to join the Estates Team. The Asset Development Manager will lead the creation, development, and implementation of the SPS Asset Maintenance Strategy. This strategic framework will be translated into a practical and actionable Asset Management Plan, ensuring a consistent and standardised approach across the SPS estate. The role focuses on performance optimisation, risk mitigation, and life cycle management, supporting long-term sustainability and operational objectives.

If you have the following, we would like to hear from you:

  • Degree in a relevant field (e.g. engineering, facilities management, building services) or significant experience managing assets across a complex multisite estate. (essential)
  • Experience with Computerised Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and digital asset frameworks (AIR, AIM, CDE). (essential)
  • Proven experience in asset strategy development, technical specification writing, and maintenance integration with a strong understanding of BIM, ISO 55000, PAS 1192-3, BS EN essential)
  • Knowledge of H&S legislation, British Standards, ACOPs, and statutory compliance.
  • In depth technical understanding of Maintenance Asset Management methodologies in relation to mechanical, electrical and building services. (essential)
