Role: ERP PMO Analyst

Location: Basingstoke Hub office with hybrid working (3 days in office). The role will include very occasional travel to Germany

We're currently recruiting for an ERP PMO Analyst who will support the ERP Programme Director in the delivery of the programme objectives.

You'll do this by providing expertise in project and programme governance, monitoring, and reporting. This role ensures consistency in project management practices, facilitates decision-making through accurate reporting, and helps optimise resource utilisation across the programme.

The ERP PMO Analyst will be collaborating with the Delivery Leads and Project Managers, stakeholders, and leadership to ensure alignment between initiatives across the programme.

Role & Responsibilities

• Support the implementation and maintenance of programme governance frameworks aligned with the overall governance
• Ensure project and programme compliance with organisational policies and methodologies
• Produce timely and accurate programme reports, status updates, risks, and performance metrics, and manage the updates to the D&D portfolio management tool (Smartsheet)
• Work with the ERP Programme Director and implementation partners to monitor milestones, budgets and costs, and resource allocation across the programme
• Ensure actions are accurately captured and tracked to an on-time completion target
• Assist in identifying, assessing, and monitoring dependencies, risks and issues at project and programme levels. Ensure that they are being tracked effectively in the Smartsheet tool
• Work with the ERP Programme Director and implementation partners to maintain centralised risk and issue logs, and ensure effective mitigation plans are in place
• Support resource planning and capacity management across the programme
• Track resource allocation and utilisation, ensuring alignment with priorities and availability
• Provide insights into resource constraints and recommend actions to optimise deployment
• Facilitate lessons-learned exercises and integrate findings into process improvements.
• Monitor project and programme budgets, ensuring adherence to financial guidelines, provide financial reports to inform decision-making
• Identify potential budget risks and work with project teams to implement corrective actions.
• Administer and maintain programme management tools and systems (e.g., Smartsheets, Microsoft Project Online, Jira/Confluence, or similar)
• Ensure accurate and up-to-date data is recorded in programme management tools.
• Provide training and support to delivery leads, project managers and stakeholders on tool usage.
• Assist the ERP Programme Director to facilitate workshops, meetings, and steering committees as needed
• Identify opportunities to improve programme management processes and tools.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices, sharing insights with the team.
• Contribute to the development and delivery of training programmes for delivery leads and project management staff

• Relevant qualification in project or programme management or equivalent experience
• Prior experience in an ERP PMO, project management, or programme management role across multiple project streams
• Familiarity with delivery management methodologies such as PRINCE2, Agile, or MSP (Managing Successful Programmes)
• Proficiency in programme management tools (e.g., Smartsheets, Microsoft Project, Project Online, or similar
• P3O (Programme, Programme, and Project Offices) certification is highly desirable
• International programme experience is desirable, especially NetSuite or similar
