Cybrand specialises in the sale and rental of Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) for clients requiring remote or bespoke power solutions—such as construction sites, outdoor events, and fleet EV charging infrastructure. We also supply generator sets for hybrid configurations, ensuring our customers benefit from reliable and environmentally conscious temporary power systems.

As we expand our UK operations, we are seeking a skilled and motivated Technical Installation Engineer to join our team. Full Time post available - Part Time may be considered.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, commission, and support BESS and generator systems across the UK
  • Troubleshoot technical issues in the field and follow through to resolution
  • Create and maintain installation guides, troubleshooting charts, and technical documentation
  • Assess and report system complaints, identify improvement opportunities, and liaise with supply partners to implement solutions
  • Develop and implement Health & Safety documentation and procedures
  • Coordinate and mentor national installation services
  • Deliver customer training and support ongoing development in application engineering, diagnostics and servicing.
  • Participate in project meetings (on-site and via video conference)
  • Represent Cybrand at trade shows, industry forums, and press events as required

Candidate Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in the BESS or power generation/ rental sector
  • Recognised electrical engineering qualification relevant to Genset and/or BESS applications
  • Strong technical background with hands-on troubleshooting capabilities
  • Proven ability to produce clear, structured documentation
  • Experience in Health & Safety compliance and documentation
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: £40,000.00-£50,000.00 per year

Expected hours: 25.5 – 39.5 per week

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Chester CH2 4NU
