The Role

As an Electrical NPI Manufacturing Engineer, you'll:

  • Lead the technical development of powered and battery-powered systems, ensuring robust, compliant, and scalable product solutions.
  • Work closely with design, innovation, and production teams to test prototypes, validate performance, and support manufacturing readiness.
  • Provide specialist input into electrical design, battery integration, and product testing, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Support customer trials, produce technical documentation, and contribute to continuous product improvement.
  • Act as a technical mentor and collaborate across teams to drive best practice and innovation.

About You

You'll bring as an Electrical NPI Manufacturing Engineer:

  • Degree or NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering (or related discipline).
  • Strong experience (5 years) in electrical/electronic product development and manufacturing.
  • Proven track record taking products from concept to production.
  • Knowledge of Li-Ion battery systems (highly advantageous).
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder-facing skills.
  • A proactive, self-starting approach with great attention to detail.
