Apidura is looking for dynamic
Social Media Specialist
to join its London team to help build and develop our social media presence across a variety of platforms.

This role will support our global brand and external communication goals by approaching social media in a way that is aligned to our brand ethos. We look to create meaningful content that holds value to our audience, as such, we prioritise high-quality, engaging content with considered communication at its core. The position will suit candidates that can effectively plan, create and deliver executions in line with wider campaigns.

Responsibilities:

  • Community Management: Engaging with users across new and emerging social channels, relevant forums and websites, building and growing our following and proactively seeking relevant conversations for us to join.
  • Content Creation: Planning, developing and editing on-brand social media content, with a particular focus on video output. Assisting with the creation of other community-focussed content such as newsletters and journal content.
  • Campaign Building: Working closely with digital, marketing and communications teams to build social media campaigns that complement wider activities at Apidura.
  • Analytics: Regular assessment of social posts' performances and identification of trends to inform future social strategy.

Skills:

  • Have outstanding verbal and written communication skills and be an excellent copywriter.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of the nuances of key social media platforms.
  • Be comfortable with ideating, storyboarding and shooting video-based social media content.
  • Be highly organized, analytical and pay close attention to detail.
  • Have the interest, energy and flexibility to work in the fast-paced environment of a growing business and wear multiple hats.

Experience:

  • Have 2+ years experience in brand-based social media, or experience in a similar role with relevant and applicable skills (IE Content creation, Marketing Comms)
  • While direct experience within the bikepacking and cycling industry isn't a necessity, a willingness to submerse yourself into that world and learn about it would be an advantage, as would a general interest in the outdoors industry and alignment to our values of sustainability and honesty.

Additional requirements:

A genuine interest in working for a purpose-led business with a focus on inspiring and enabling people of all backgrounds to ride further, faster and more comfortably.

Candidate must be authorized to work in the UK.
