My client is seeking an experienced
Senior Geo-Environmental Consultant
to join their dynamic, market-leading environmental consultancy. This is an excellent opportunity to work across a diverse portfolio of projects—ranging from brownfield redevelopment to nationally significant infrastructure projects, where your technical expertise will make a direct impact on the regeneration of land and the environment.

The Role

As a
Senior Geo-Environmental Consultant
, you will:

  • Lead and deliver high-quality geo-environmental assessments, including Preliminary Risk Assessments and Quantitative Risk Assessments for human health and controlled waters
  • Supervise and manage ground investigations, including soil and rock logging, and groundwater/gas monitoring
  • Produce detailed technical reports and support project teams in managing environmental risks
  • Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and best practice, including planning and regulatory processes
  • Work collaboratively across disciplines and with clients to develop practical, sustainable solutions

About You

  • Degree in Geology, Engineering Geology, Environmental Science or a related discipline
  • Strong experience producing geo-environmental desk studies and risk assessments
  • Experience managing site investigations and contaminated land assessments
  • Familiarity with UK regulatory and planning frameworks for contaminated land
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A full UK driving licence (preferably clean)

The role would suit a proactive team player who is comfortable working in a collaborative environment. Strong organisational and client facing skills with a passion for solving complex problems.
