Overview

Zearch is seeking a dynamic and driven Global Sales Director to lead a growing team while personally contributing to revenue, new business acquisition, and client success. This role combines hands-on sales leadership with team management, strategic direction, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development

  • Own an individual revenue target, with a large focus on net new business acquisition.

  • Identify, pursue, and convert new client opportunities across target markets.

  • Network deeply with senior leaders in key markets as well as working and unlocking opportunities in the VC/PE arena.

  • Manage and grow a personal portfolio of client accounts, ensuring long-term value and repeat business. (Upsell/cross sell)

  • Develop and execute sales strategies that drive pipeline growth and market penetration.

  • Represent Zearch in client meetings, events, and US-based business trips as needed.

  • Identify new opportunities within current accounts and still manage key deals within "house accounts"

  • Aim to hire at VP, SVP, C Level whilst also uncovering senior IC and Director level searches.

  • Act as a player-manager: lead by example while maintaining hands-on recruitment activity.

  • Oversee end-to-end recruitment delivery for key/new accounts.

  • Lead senior searches and oversee weekly sync calls as and when appropriate.

  • Ensure high-quality candidate sourcing, screening, and placement processes.

Team Management & Mentorship

  • Lead, coach, and mentor a small team of recruiters to achieve and exceed targets.

  • Conduct regular one-to-ones, performance reviews, and professional development sessions.

  • Support team members with deal strategy, client engagement, and candidate management.

  • Mentor and nurture new starts with 0 recruitment experience

  • Foster a positive, high-performance culture driven by accountability and collaboration.

  • Manage interview processes for new talent

  • Work with the CEO to agree strategies for managing and coaching both junior and senior consultants.

Operational & Strategic Contribution

  • Provide regular sales forecasting, performance reports, and market insight to leadership.

  • Contribute to the development of sales processes, recruitment best practices, and team structure.

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to align sales and delivery strategies with company goals.

  • Identify opportunities globally and assist with input for US expansion.

  • Receive dedicated Operations/Marketing support.

Key Skills & Experience

  • 3 + years experience in recruitment/Executive search in the B2B Technology space.

  • Track record of generating new business within net new accounts and delivering on key searches.

  • Track record of hitting/exceeding revenue targets.

  • Experience mentoring junior recruiters or experience developing a small, high-performing teams in or out of industry.

  • Experience closing numerous VP / SVP searches.

  • Excellent client-facing skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels.

  • Ability and willingness to travel to the United States as required.

  • Entrepreneurial, self-driven, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
