Job Overview

We are hiring two experienced Senior healthcare assistant for night shifts to join our team at Shaws Wood Residential Care Home in Strood, Rochester, Kent. Shifts cover The hours are on a two week rolling roster, with some hours every other weekend. There will also be opportunities to cover for holidays and sickness.

Shaws Wood is a 39 bedded home for people living with dementia, it is a rewarding place to work where we aim to make a meaningful difference to the lives of those that live here. About You

Experience in a senior role is essential as you will be responsible for a small team of care assistants; assisting residents with personal care and supporting people that may be awake at night, this will include administration of medication - you may find yourself offering emotional support to a confused or distressed resident or delivering care to someone at the end of their life, you'll always have their well-being in mind above anything else.

We will provide training and support and you will have the opportunity to gain further qualifications to go forward in your career in health and social care. We are passionate about ensuring that our current and future colleagues are able to develop their career within the health and care sector.
