Job Overview

We are seeking compassionate and dedicated In Home Caregivers to provide personalised support to clients within their own homes. This role involves assisting individuals with daily activities, ensuring their safety, and promoting independence. Duties

  • Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Support with mobility and transfer assistance as required
  • Help with household chores including light cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation
  • Administer medication following care plans and instructions
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
  • Maintain accurate records of care provided and any changes in client condition
  • Communicate effectively with clients, family members, and healthcare professionals
  • Drive clients to appointments or social activities as needed
  • Follow health and safety protocols to ensure a safe environment for clients and oneself

Qualifications

  • Valid driving licence and access to reliable transportation
  • Experience working in a care home or providing home care is advantageous
  • Knowledge of care plans and ability to follow detailed instructions
  • Proficiency in English with excellent communication skills
  • Basic IT skills for documentation and reporting purposes
  • Compassionate nature with strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good organisational skills and attention to detail
