Salary: £30,000 to £40,000 per annum

About the Role:

We are looking for a passionate and experienced Non Nurse Deputy Manager to support the Home Manager in delivering exceptional, person-centred care. You will play a key leadership role within the home — ensuring the highest standards of clinical practice, safety, and compliance are maintained.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Home Manager in the day-to-day running of the care home.
  • Ensure compliance with CQC standards and company policies.
  • Supervise and mentor care staff, ensuring excellent care delivery.
  • Conduct assessments, care planning, and risk management.
  • Promote a positive, safe, and supportive environment for residents and staff.
  • Lead by example, maintaining a professional and compassionate approach at all times.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 4 years' experience within a care home environment.
  • NVQ Level 5 in Leadership and Management in Health & Social Care (or working towards it).
  • Alternatively, NVQ Level 3 with at least 2–3 years' experience as a Team Leader or Senior Carer.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
  • Sound understanding of safeguarding, health and safety, and quality assurance processes.
