Purpose of Role

To manage the full tender process from brief to handover, ensuring all submissions are commercially sound, accurate, and delivered on time.

The Tender Project Manager is the project lead for customer tenders: owning accuracy, communication, and cross-functional coordination to maximise A2V's win rate. This is a pivotal role in driving A2V's commercial success, as tenders form a core part of our business strategy. Through disciplined project management, clear communication, and a deep understanding of both customer and product requirements, you play a direct role in converting opportunities into secured business.

Mission

To deliver high-quality, commercially viable tender submissions that drive customer confidence and convert opportunities into secured orders.

Accountabilities (A)

·      Tender submissions to deadlines

· % Accurate and complete tender submissions

·      Co-Ordinate Tender samples

·      Capturing and logging all tender communications and updates

·      Issue resolution and timely escalation to the Lead Tender & Planning Manager

·      Clear, complete handover documentation for successful tenders

Responsibilities (R)

·      Lead assigned tenders from brief to submission, ensuring clarity, accuracy, and speed

·      Review quotes, specifications, and visuals for alignment and accuracy

·      Maintain and update tender trackers with live data and deadlines

·      Apply a working understanding of product construction, materials, and manufacturing when reviewing quotes.

·      Manage tender timelines with awareness of factory capacity, seasonal production pressures, and critical path dependencies.

·      Support tender submissions by preparing accurate documentation and pricing

·      Capture all communications, updates, and amendments related to active tenders

·      Ensure all submitted information is reviewed for accuracy before submission

·      Resolve issues proactively and escalate where needed with proposed solutions

·      Maintain version control of all tender-related files and ensure data integrity

·      Support tender handovers to relevant project or order management teams

·      Feedback on improvements by highlighting process or data gaps

Measures of Success

· % of deadlines met, including initial tender submissions and follow up.

·      Accurate tender submissions

·      Maintains complete visibility and understanding of all active tenders, confidently able to summarise status, risks, and next steps at any time.

·      Clear, complete tender handovers delivered on time

Skills & Experience

·
3–5 years' experience in tender, project, or account management (FMCG, retail, or sourcing preferred)

·      Strong commercial awareness and analytical mindset.

·      Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, production lead times, and the impact of critical paths on project delivery.

·      Experience of working with Far East suppliers

·      Excellent communication and coordination across departments

·      High attention to detail with ability to manage multiple deadlines

·      Skilled in project management tools.

·      Proactive, solution-driven, and calm under pressure
