The Chancery Rosewood, a Rosewood Hotel Group property, is housed in the iconic former U.S. Embassy on Grosvenor Square, re-imagined by British architect Sir David Chipperfield. Including 144 spacious suites designed by Joseph Dirand, including a variety of dining and entertainment spaces: providing a stage for progressive ideas, voices and expression.

As Security Supervisor, you will report to the Director of Security and support the leadership of the Security team to ensure the environment of The Chancery Rosewood is safe, secure, and aligned with Rosewood's standard of hospitality. You will:

  • Supervise and coach security officers, ensuring all shifts are covered and standards are maintained.
  • Implement and monitor security protocols (loss prevention, key control, emergency response, business continuity) across the hotel estate.
  • Respond to alarms and incidents (fire, intrusion, threats) in line with policy, coordinate investigations and maintain accurate incident logs.
  • Liaise with other departments (Front Office, Engineering, Housekeeping, F&B) and external agencies (police, fire, regulatory) as required.
  • Support training, performance review, recruitment and rota-planning for the Security team.
  • Actively participate in building a guest-first security culture where the team are visible, approachable and aligned to the Rosewood service values.

About You

  • Proven experience in a supervisory or team leader role within a luxury hotel or comparable environment, with Security / SIA certification preferred.
  • Excellent communicator, confident dealing with both guests and associates, and able to lead by example in high-pressure or emergency situations.
  • Strong knowledge of safety and security protocols (fire, evacuation, key control, access, business continuity).
  • A proactive problem-solver with good judgment, high levels of integrity and a calm, professional demeanor.
  • Flexible to work rotating shifts including nights, weekends and public holidays, as required.
