Durham University Performing Arts is seeking to appoint an Internal Hires Co-ordinator for student music, for the academic year 2022/23.

Who is the role aimed at?

Applicants should be students studying at Durham University throughout the academic year 2022/23 and should wish to play an active role in Durham University's student music scene. The role will suit those particularly interested in theatre/music technology as well as props/costumes.

What's the commitment?

Six hours a week throughout the three terms, running the Internal Hires service from the Assembly Rooms Theatre. Hours may be reviewed once work has started, and a degree of flexibility is essential.

The role includes:

  • Managing all bookings and rentals of equipment
  • Being present for all  hires and returns.
  • Managing a booking calendar for hires.
  • Issuing invoices for clients.
