We are seeking an experienced student with experience in one or more of the following subjects: maths, physics, chemistry, to work collaboratively with academic staff and Disability Support to enable the conversion of current teaching materials into alternative formats for Level 1 undergraduate students. This will include working with designated software packages to convert/edit existing materials in line with the identified disability-related reasonable adjustments; full training will be provided, as needed.
The below role descriptor seeks to capture the main requirements of the role consistently, providing a summary of the key duties of the flexible role to help in setting expectations for applicants, flexible workers and line managers. They are not intended to cover all duties which may be required.

Responsibilities
Teaching Support
Casual Grade 5
Under instruction and following appropriate training:
Support the delivery of specific elements of the teaching programme as specified by the relevant department
Assist with the production of L&T materials
Assist and direct student projects as required
Help ensure appropriate student conduct and adherence to ethical guidelines, implementing the University's code of conduct and reporting any concerns to the academic mentor
Monitoring the welfare of the student(s) and report any concerns immediately
