Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young learners? Carmarthenshire Education Welfare Service is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Senior Attendance Advisor to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Team Lead to ensure effective service delivery.
- Build strong relationships with families and learners to provide the necessary support and guidance.
- Work collaboratively with schools to address and overcome barriers to student attendance and engagement
- Challenge schools on current attendance trends
- Provide a range of training relevant to the role
- Develop and implement strategies to improve school attendance rates
Qualifications and Skills:
- Proven experience in a similar role within education or social services
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders
- A solution focused, resilient and resourceful outlook
- Commitment to improving educational outcomes for all students.
