About Us
We're a fast-growing online retailer specializing in premium hair extensions, wigs, and hair accessories. Our mission is to empower every customer with confidence through beautiful, high-quality hair. As we expand globally, we're looking for a Data Analyst who not only excels at numbers but also understands hair textures, beauty trends, and customer needs in the textured-hair market.
The Role
We're seeking an experienced Data Analyst to join our e-commerce and marketing team.
You'll be responsible for transforming our data into actionable insights — helping us understand product performance, customer behaviour, marketing ROI, and stock optimization.
This is a unique opportunity for someone who loves data-driven storytelling and has first-hand experience in the hair or beauty retail industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyse online sales, marketing, and customer data to identify growth opportunities.
- Track performance of key product lines (extensions, wigs, accessories) across hair textures and categories.
- Provide insights into customer preferences by hair type (e.g. straight, wavy, curly, coily).
- Build and maintain dashboards (Power BI / Tableau / Looker Studio) for sales, inventory, and marketing KPIs.
- Forecast demand to inform stock purchasing, seasonal promotions, and new product launches.
- Work with marketing to measure campaign performance (social ads, influencer partnerships, email).
- Conduct cohort and segmentation analysis to improve customer retention and lifetime value.
- Collaborate with e-commerce and supply chain teams to streamline data-driven decisions.
Required Skills & Experience
Minimum 5 years' experience in hair or beauty retail, preferably online (e.g. wigs, extensions, textured hair care).
Deep understanding of hair textures, product lifecycles, and customer buying habits in the textured-hair industry.
Proven experience with e-commerce data analysis (Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento, or similar).
Strong skills in Excel, SQL, and data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, or Google Data Studio).
Knowledge of Google Analytics, Meta Ads Manager, and email campaign data.
Strong analytical thinking with the ability to translate data into business actions.
Excellent communication skills — able to simplify data insights for non-technical teams.
Desirable (Nice to Have)
Experience with Python or R for advanced analytics or automation.
Background in marketing analytics or product merchandising.
Understanding of global hair trends and influencer-driven online retail.
Why Join Us
- Work in a creative, beauty-focused environment where your data insights drive visible results.
- Opportunity to shape strategy for one of the UK's fastest-growing textured-hair e-commerce brands.
- Supportive, diverse, and inclusive team culture.
- Flexible working hours and remote options.
