Job Summary

Bernard Matthews are now recruiting for hard working Night Shift Hygiene Operatives to work at our Holton site near Halesworth, Suffolk. The successful applicants will be required to work hours on a 4 on / 4 off night shift pattern. This is a permanent fulltime contract with Bernard Matthews.

As a key member of the team you will ensure the factory is cleaned to a high standard after production has finished. This will involve working closely with the Production and Engineering teams to ensure the factory equipment and environment is maintained to the highest specifications.

Experience within a hygiene environment or an understanding of food production would be advantageous, but no problem if you don't, as full training will be provided.

Responsibilities

  • Maintaining strict hygiene standards in all production areas
  • Completion of all relevant checklists and hygiene documentation and reporting any non-conformances
  • Adhere to the cleaning schedule and ensure cleanliness standards are met
  • Paying full attention to Health & Safety requirements
  • Use chemicals and apparatus in correct manner, adhering to user manuals and safe systems of work at all times
  • Ensure all Health & Safety policies and Company procedures are followed correctly
