PE backed, Global Advertising business are looking for a talented Group Financial Reporting Manager to join their Group finance team.

Reporting to the Group Financial Reporting Senior Manager, one of the key responsibilities of the

Group Financial Reporting Manager will be to manage the Group reporting for the business and

maintain accurate accounting records. The Group Financial Reporting Manager will also be

responsible for managing balance sheet reconciliations and supporting with the year-end external audit process.

Group Financial Reporting Manager - The Role:

  • Preparation of monthly management packs and presentation to stakeholders.
  • Calculation and preparation of monthly Group journals and maintaining accurate records across the group.
  • Liaising with the various business units in collating month end reporting information as required.
  • Maintain accurate, timely and detailed balance sheet reconciliations for the Group along with supporting commentary and agreed actions coming therefrom.
  • Maintaining the group consolidation.
  • Manage the year-end external audit process and own the preparation of the annual Statutory Accounts.
  • Produce technical accounting papers as required.
  • Lead on implementation of new accounting standards as required.
  • Increase robustness of Group processes and building process note for key areas.
  • Assist with the integration of newly acquired companies as required.
  • Support on NetSuite integration for new entities.
  • Assist with other finance projects throughout the year as required.
  • Participate in projects and initiatives which drive the company's commitment to positive social and environmental causes. E.g., charity partnerships, volunteering, carbon offsetting etc.

Group Financial Reporting Manager - The Person:

  • Qualified Accountant ACA (3-4 years PQE)
  • Strong technical accounting skills with knowledge of FRS102 and IFRS.
  • Highly proficient in MS Excel and Power Point
  • Ability and willingness to get their sleeves rolled up and get into the detail.
  • Strong knowledge of best practice for process and controls.
  • Willing to challenge the status quo.
  • Articulate and able to communicate issues and concerns clearly and concisely.
  • Thorough understanding of commercial and business principles.
  • Honesty, integrity, and reliability.
  • Highly organised with a high attention to detail.
  • Research and analytical skills.
