Interim Group Reporting Manager

9 month contract (View to go perm)

I am exclusively partnered with a scale-up FinTech business who are currently experiencing a high-growth period with ambitious plans to grow their global reach.

As the Interim Group Reporting Manager, you will play a pivotal role in the Financial Reporting & Control team taking responsibility for key financial reports, implementing and monitoring controls to safeguard the group's financial integrity whilst ensuring financial data is accurate. About the role:

  • Lead and own the annual statutory audit process for all legal entities, being the main point of contact for external auditors
  • Manage the preparation of annual financial statements for the group in compliance to UK GAAP and IFRS
  • Manage the group consolidation process and ensure proper elimination of intercompany transactions and balances
  • Take ownership of the Groups employee incentive arrangements, shared based payments for accounting and reporting
  • Identify opportunities to enhance reporting processes, maintain and improve internal controls and create efficiencies for financial reporting
  • Provide technical accounting advice on new products, M&A activity and corporate structuring for geographical expansion

About you:

  • ACA/CAANZ/CA qualified with experience from a top 10 accounting practice
  • 3-5 years industry experience in a Tech/Fintech and/or scale-up/high growth SME
  • Strong experience leading on company audit and being a main point of contact
  • Able to work in a fast-paced, high growth environment
  • Strong organisational skills, natural ability to build relationships with stakeholders and confident
  • Excellent knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS
  • Immediately available or within a short notice period (2 weeks MAX)
