Responsibilities

  • Operate deep fryers and other kitchen equipment safely and efficiently to prepare a variety of fried foods.
  • Ensure all food is cooked to the correct temperature and prepared in accordance with health and safety regulations.
  • Assist with meal preparation,seasoning, and assembling food items.
  • Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area, including cleaning fryers and utensils after use.
  • Follow recipes and portion control guidelines to ensure consistency in food quality.
  • Support the team during busy periods by assisting with food service and other kitchen duties as required.
  • Adhere strictly to food safety standards, including proper storage of ingredients and waste disposal procedures.

Skills

  • Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or a similar kitchen role.
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in a culinary setting.
  • Experience working in a restaurant or catering environment is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of meal preparation techniques, particularly frying methods.
