Job Description: Takeaway Manager (Fryer, Pizza & Kebab Specialist)

Position OverviewWe are looking for an experienced and hands-on Takeaway Manager to oversee the daily operations of our fast-food takeaway. The ideal candidate will be skilled in frying, pizza preparation, and kebab cooking, while also managing staff, stock, customer service, and overall store performance.

Key Responsibilities

Food Preparation & Cooking

  • Prepare and cook a variety of menu items including fried foods, pizzas, and kebabs.
  • Ensure all dishes are made to a consistent, high-quality standard.
  • Maintain excellent food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness practices at all times.

Management & Operations

  • Oversee daily takeaway operations to ensure smooth and efficient workflow.
  • Lead, train, and supervise staff, creating a positive and productive work environment.
  • Manage rotas, staff performance, and shift responsibilities.
  • Handle stock control, ordering, and deliveries to ensure adequate inventory levels.
  • Maintain equipment and coordinate repairs when needed.

Customer Service

  • Provide excellent customer service, dealing with orders, inquiries, and issues professionally.
  • Ensure fast, friendly, and accurate service both in-store and over the phone.
  • Handle complaints calmly and effectively.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £16.00-£18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 45 per week
