Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Cleaner Supervisor to join our team for Friday/Saturday and Sunday's weekly (With 1 day supernumerary on a weekday). The ideal candidate will play a vital role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in various environments, ensuring that all areas are kept to the highest standards. This position requires a strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. A commitment to excellent customer service and effective communication is essential for success in this role. As a cleaning supervisor you will be responsible for ensuring your team are lead to success, by ensuring the team are providing high standards of cleanliness throughout. You will manage Audits, Rota's, and cleaning schedules, You will be joining a small but efficient team.

  • Ensuring the location of your team, and high standards of cleanliness are maintained.
  • Staff appraisals (Annually)
  • Perform cleaning duties in assigned areas, including offices, restrooms, kitchens, and communal spaces and residents bedrooms
  • Ensure all surfaces are cleaned, dusted, and sanitised regularly.
  • Manage waste disposal and recycling efforts effectively.
  • Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the appropriate personnel.
  • Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, ensuring they are used safely and stored correctly.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by responding to requests or concerns from clients promptly.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding cleaning schedules and tasks.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a cleaning Supervisory role is essential.
  • Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanour.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
  • A valid driving licence is advantageous for roles requiring travel between locations.
  • Attention to detail with a proactive approach to cleanliness and hygiene.
