About the role
The University of Sunderland is part of a Regional University Consortium led by Durham University to deliver on the SCENE (Strategic Commercialisation Ecosystem North-East). This is a programme that represents an important development in realising the shared ambition of the five UNEE universities, to drive forward a sustained step-change in the commercialisation of university research, delivering enhanced economic, social and environmental impact.
This role would be based at the University of Sunderland in Sunderland and travel around the region would be required. You will be a part of the Innovation and Enterprise team; we are a growing team within a fast-paced environment that offer a flexible agile working pattern.
This is a fixed-term contract for 5 years, please see attached role profile for a full list of responsibilities.

The successful candidate will have good communication skills for both an internal and external audience and an in-depth understanding of commercialization and innovation. You will have a proven track record of project management and partnership working.
