As an Engagement Manager, you will partner closely with internal teams including Sales, Product, and Engineering to address customer needs, drive adoption, and facilitate meaningful outcomes through strategic consultations, success planning, and targeted support. At Profound, you will serve as an expert guiding customers through the future of search, sharing best practices and actionable tactics to enhance their AI visibility.What You'll DoServe as the primary point of contact and trusted advisor for customers from enterprises to startups within Marketing and Search organizationsConduct regular strategic business reviews, proactively identifying opportunities and addressing risksDeeply understand customer objectives, proactively managing relationships with key stakeholders across Marketing, Operations, Product, and Executive teamsEffectively multi-thread customer engagements to mitigate risk from stakeholder turnoverCollaborate internally with Sales, Product, and Engineering teams to optimize customer implementation and resolve any technical challengesWho You AreAt least 2-3 years of experience in startups working in a customer success/account management role or >4 years of overall experienceExcellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to deliver presentations and demonstrations effectivelySelf-motivated and driven, with a passion for building strong customer relationshipsWilling to dive in head first in the face of challenges and ambiguityGreat with numbers; analytical mindsetCan own a process end to endManage multiple initiatives at the same time– you are good at juggling thingsExperience in the search or marketing industry is a strong plus
