The organization is seeking a visionary
Director of Operations
to run this manufacturing site, focused on delivering its highly technical and unique products to key customers in the semiconductor and industrial space. In this high-impact, strategic leadership role, they will be responsible for P&L oversight, operations (EHS, Supply Chain etc), engineering performance, and people leadership over 200 employees. This is a unique opportunity to shape the direction and transformation of this key site within a globally recognized organization while championing safety, innovation, and operational excellence.

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead all business operations, including manufacturing, engineering, supply chain, sales, finance, and HR.
• Drive cultural transformation with leadership teams and work closely with stakeholders across the global business.
• Strong P&L / Accounting background to drive success within the business ($XXmillion) with a focus on continuous improvement, cost efficiency, and working capital optimization.
• Build and empower a high-performing leadership team across the UK facility
• Champion a lean and operational excellence/ CI initiatives
• Strengthen organizational capabilities by driving employee development, engagement, and succession planning.
• Foster collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support growth and innovation.
• Navigate cross-cultural team dynamics with global partners and ensure effective technology transfer and execution.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or a related technical field.
• Proven success in leading large-scale technical operations with P&L experience.
• Deep expertise in manufacturing, engineering, and supply chain leadership within a high-tech or industrial setting.
• Strong understanding of semiconductor/electronics manufacturing is preferred.
• Experienced in driving organizational change and continuous improvement strategies.
• Effective communicator with excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
