ICP Search is expanding, and we're looking for a senior commercial leader who understands the worlds of sport, media and technology. Our clients include private equity firms, global tech brands, broadcasters, content creators, entertainment companies and sports organisations — from elite clubs and leagues to international federations. They trust us to deliver talent who elevate performance and accelerate growth.

Commercial Director – Client Growth
to accelerate our next chapter.

What you'll lead:

  • Building a strong, consistent new-business pipeline across sport, media and tech.
  • Winning retained searches and developing long-term relationships with senior decision-makers.
  • Leading the front end of the sales process, from first conversation to signed agreement.
  • Acting as the bridge between new briefs and our delivery team to ensure clarity, pace and quality on every assignment.
  • Strengthening existing client relationships and identifying new opportunities.
  • Representing ICP Search at major industry events, conferences and trade shows.
  • Inspiring and raising the performance of the wider consulting team.
  • Company direction with the CEO and other senior team members.

Who you are

  • A proven commercial operator in recruitment or executive search and / or an industry specialist with a strong consultative sales background specifically within our niche markets.
  • Confident navigating C-VP suite conversations and converting high-value opportunities.
  • Skilled at opening doors, building trust and creating momentum.
  • Commercially sharp, consultative, structured and good under pressure.
  • Naturally curious about how the right people can raise standards within organisations globally.
  • Comfortable leading from the front and setting high standards.

  • Strong retained revenue across sport, media and sports technology.
  • A predictable pipeline built on quality conversations, not volume.
  • A motivated consulting team delivering high-quality search work.
  • Deeper partnerships with senior clients who trust us with their most important hires.
  • A visible presence for ICP Search across key industry events and networks.
