We are currently looking for x2 qualified practitioners Level 3 or above to come and join us at our Little Seedlings at Arncliffe site.

This will position will be a job share x1 = 24 hours x1 =16 hours.

The right candidates will be enthusiastic, creative and be able to come into our nursery with ideas to share with the team. They would also be able to engage children within the provision through exciting activities and understand how they can extend their learning by building relationships and working with parents in order for every child to achieve their full potential.

We are asking all applicants to have at least a Level 3 Childcare qualification and be willing to extend their knowledge and career in our nursery

The right candidate will have experience of working in a nursery across all ages from Babies to Pre-School and be able to carry out the following duties:

  • plan and prepare stimulating activities
  • set out activities before session and tidy up after the session preparing for the following day
  • develop children's knowledge, skills and understanding through play
  • speak to parents and carers about their children's development
  • make sure children learn in a safe and positive environment
  • monitor children's progress, identify next steps and report any concerns
  • work alongside colleagues and support new practitioners
  • contribute to curriculum planning
  • attend staff meetings and training sessions

Our nursery is open from 8.00am-6.00pm Your hours will be 40 hours per week.
