Ipswich, Suffolk, United Kingdom Liquidline Full time £40,000 - £80,000 per year
We're looking for a Senior Data Analyst to play a key role in driving strategic insights across the business and helping to evolve our data environment. You'll collaborate closely with stakeholders across departments to support both operational and strategic initiatives-particularly as we modernise systems and strengthen our reporting foundations. Our current stack includes SQL Server and Power BI, with complex data models and pipelines. The projects you'll work on will range from business intelligence and data science to analytical insights.
If you're someone who can quickly get up to speed with existing systems, understand data logic, and craft compelling data narratives, this could be a great fit.

The Role
  • Partner with stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into analytical solutions.
  • Collaborate across teams to uncover growth opportunities, deliver statistical analysis, and provide actionable insights.
  • Build and enhance data models, dashboards and reporting tools, using SQL Server and Power BI.
  • Contribute to shaping our data strategy as we upgrade and migrate key systems
  • Support efforts to standardise metrics, documentation and reporting logic across the business.
What You Will Need In The Role Of Senior Data Analyst
  • Advanced proficiency in SQL, with hands-on experience in SQL server environments.
  • A proactive, solution-orientated mindset with a strong sense of ownership.
  • Experience designing and maintaining Power BI dashboards and data models.
  • Ability to work with complex datasets and translate business logic into analytics.
  • Excellent communication skills - you can clearly explain data to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Proven ability to apply statistics, exploratory data analysis, and predictive modelling.
  • Experience with ERP systems or large-scale data migrations is a plus but not essential.
  • Background in e-commerce or service operations would be advantageous.
